With the introduction of the computer into the movie magic arsenal, the film making process hasn’t been the same. But the genre which has been most affected by this revolutionary technology has been the animated film. Until relatively recently, the once-gold standard 2D animated film was relegated to the realm of the Oscar short or a film infomercial prior to a 3D feature. Disney had shut down all of its 2D production studios until about a year and a half ago, when they reopened to produce the new film The Princess and the Frog. Since the 3D film has become so dominant in theatres and is now the new gold standard, I decided to do a Top 10 focused on the most reflixable 3D animated films ever released. Here we go!

This week’s top 10 list is a focus on the top 10 most reflixable Sci-Fi films.  Many of these films aren’t considered the best films of the genre – you’ll notice that 2001 and Blade Runner, among others, are left off the top 10 list. But remember, this list is about the top 10 flicks you would watch again and again – every single one gets an infinite rating. Could you really watch Deckard chase after the same androids again and again? Or those chimps jump around the obelisk over and over? I don’t think I could. So here are my top 10 picks for the most reflixable Sci-Fi films.
