Alright, as you’ve probably noticed, my posts are a little off this week. I’ll be publishing this week’s posts a day late or so, mainly because I’ve had so much work to do outside of my little side project here. I’ll also be splitting up the DVD reflixability this week because there are SIX films out this week and I want to be able to give them all a fair shot at a reflix review so that I am not leaving anyone out. This is a jam-packed week and I’ll try and fit in as much as possible for you. As for the Top 10 this week, I’ve picked a set of films which are the kind of films that, if you were flipping through channels and saw them on TV, you’d stop to watch. Either that, or when you feel in the sports mood, one of these is probably the type of film you enjoy watching again and again. I promise you this, these aren’t the best sports films ever made – Fields of Dreams, Raging Bull, and Million Dollar Baby are all noticeably absent. Also, I haven’t seen every sports film ever, but I guarantee these are the types of films that you’ll watch over and over, even if they aren’t the best movies of their genre. Here are my picks for the Top 10 most reflixable sports films. N.B. My apologies, I don’t know what is up with the formatting today.
Alright, so last night, rather than going out and checking the new movies in the theatres, I decided to purchase Zack and Miri Make a Porno to finish off the rest of my Seth Rogen Profile from Wednesday. I have updated that page now, but I will give a full review of that film in this post. As well, I have decided that there is no way I will be able to review all the movies that come out on a Friday, so I will be eliminating that feature and just focus on the Friday Flashback. That way I can actually get some work done and not spend $50 each weekend on films alone. What can I say, I’m a poor college student…
In the meantime, I will be catching up with this week’s Friday Flashback by doing a full review on the films I’ve seen during the week. This week, we’ve got Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Hot Fuzz, In The Name of The King – A Dungeon Siege Tale, Redbelt, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and The Foot Fist Way.
